Thessaloniki (Greece), Sep 10 – RIA News. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that Greece is proposing to Russia to create a joint venture for the extraction of minerals, the Gazprom group is conducting substantive negotiations.
“There are projects proposed by Greek colleagues. There is, let’s say, related business, mining here in Greece,” he told reporters.
According to him, “this is not about Gazprom itself – a group of companies – and a joint venture with Greek partners, including Prometey Gas, with which Gazprom has a long-standing relationship.”
“I can’t talk about commercial ideas, these are, after all, projects, but they offer them at the highest level, including the Greek Prime Minister spoke about this. Yes, absolutely substantive negotiations, the business case studied, that is absolutely understandable things. A decision of the Greek authorities is required there, “the Deputy Prime Minister added.
