In Bashkiria, at the Uchalinsky College of Mining, the republican stage of the All-Russian Olympiad took place in the specialty “Underground mining of mineral deposits.” Winners and prize-winners of the regional tour will take part in the final stage, which will be held on the same site on May 12-14. They will compete for the main prize – a trip to Sweden to the Atlas Copco plant, the Uchalinsky College of Mining said.
The program of the republican stage of the Olympiad was intense. Young miners managed an underground drilling rig, disassembled and assemble the punch, mounted an explosive network, that is, did the work that they would face in the future in production. Competitive tasks also included the calculation of mine workings and the volume of work, the translation of a professional foreign text. At each stage, the guys were evaluated by professional experts, representatives of the college’s partner enterprises: Uchalinsky GOK JSC and AGK OJSC.
According to the results of the Olympiad, Denis Shaikhislamov, a student at Akyar Mining College, won the second place, Vladimir Markov (Sibaysky diversified professional college) won the second place, and Ruslan Ishbulatov (Akyar Mining College) took third place.
Students of the Uchalinsky College of Mining scored the maximum number of points, but took part “out of competition” as “owners” of the Olympiad. Vadim Hannanov became the winner in the nominations “Best in disassembling and assembling a telescopic perforator”, “Best in mounting an explosive tunneling face network”, “Best in managing a drilling rig”. Vilyur Mutallapov was recognized as “The Best Expert in Mining Technology”, Ildar Vildanov – “Best Surveyor”.
